The Beginner String Ensemble is designed for young musicians who have foundational skills in the violin, viola, cello, or double bass and are eager to experience playing in a group setting. This ensemble serves as an ideal next step for students who have completed the Year 3 Strings Program and want to further develop their musical abilities. This ensemble is designed for students who are receiving private music tuition on their string instrument. With a focus on enhancing string playing skills and ensemble collaboration, participants will have the opportunity to perform pieces that highlight their progress and passion
Please note: Beginner Strings runs in Semester 2 for Year 3 students who continue with the Year 3 Strings Program. Year 4 students remain in Beginner Strings in Semester 1 (of the following year) until they proceed into Primary Strings in Semester 2.
