Secondary String Ensemble is open to students in Years 7 to 12 who have intermediate or advanced skills on the violin, viola, cello or double bass and would like to play in a string ensemble. The Secondary String Ensemble gives students an opportunity to perform a wide range of musical repertoire at a higher level. The Ensemble performs at numerous school events. It is a year long commitment and will rehearse in Week A
The SCAS Orchestra includes all members of the Secondary Strings and selected members of the Iona Symphonic Winds. It is a year long commitment. SCAS Orchestra will rehearse in Week B.
